Location: Fort Lauderdale Metro Area
Work Schedule: 4 Days On-Site, 1 Day Remote
Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus

Position Overview
Our client, a growing company in the Fort Lauderdale Metro Area, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure financial reporting accuracy. The Accounting Manager will manage the accounting team, lead month-end close processes, and provide financial insights to senior leadership. The role is crucial in maintaining internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting financial audits. The candidate will work on-site 4 days a week, with 1 day remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, providing key financial insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Manage the preparation of financial audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and enhance financial accuracy.
- Oversee tax compliance and manage regulatory filings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience with month-end close processes, financial statement preparation, and audits.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team and collaborate across departments.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
