Position Overview:
Our client, a rapidly expanding PE-backed company, is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee their financial operations. The Controller will play a key role in managing accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal controls.
- Oversee the month-end close process, financial statement preparation, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Support financial audits and provide insights for continuous process improvements.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, promoting a culture of high performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or senior financial executive, ideally in a PE-backed or high-growth company.
- Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary ranging from $150,000 to $165,000 per year, depending on experience.
