Position Overview
Our client, a growing company in the Charlotte Metro Area, is seeking a Manager of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function. The Manager of FP&A will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes while providing critical insights to support executive decision-making. This role is essential for aligning financial strategies with the company’s overall objectives. The candidate will work on-site 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, including managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support strategic decision-making and assess business performance.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership to guide financial strategy and operational decisions.
- Analyze financial performance, identify key trends, and offer actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and operational objectives.
- Manage the capital allocation process, conducting scenario analysis and assessing ROI on key investments.
- Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews, presenting financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Continuously improve FP&A processes and reporting systems to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Manager of FP&A or in a senior financial analyst role.
- Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Strong experience providing strategic financial insights to support executive-level decision-making.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary ranging from $130,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
