Instead, our Direct Marketing Trainees creates a personalized approach to promotions and customer service that dramatically increases brand awareness, new customer acquisition and client revenue. We are in immediate need of an incredible Direct Marketing Trainee to take a unique, relationship-oriented approach to our direct marketing campaigns and liaise between major clients and their customers.
Responsibilities of the Direct Marketing Trainee:
- Promote products and services directly to consumers
- Establish genuine relationships to determine consumer need and provide product recommendations designed to satisfy those needs
- Directly market services and products to customers to provide an exceptional customer experience
- Lead by example and eventually train other staff members on promotional strategies
- Provide exceptional product and customer service
- Manage in-field promotional marketing campaigns and close sales
- Assist in the development and implementation of the client’s brand campaigns
- Further brand education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars
- Share best practices and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team Marketing Coordinator & Sales team

Requirements of the Direct Marketing Trainee:
- Work experience in the following industries is an asset but not required: Communications, Business administration, Management, Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Political Science, Sales, Psychology, Sports Management, and related fields
- Willingness to succeed and train in an entry-level direct marketing position
- Great communication skills and people skills
- Excellent work ethic and drive
- A positive business attitude like the rest of our client’s enthusiastic staff

This is a full time, in-office position based in the Greater DC area. We are looking for candidates that are able to start immediately, so you must be local to the area.
