This is a challenging position within a fast-paced environment that moves as quickly as you want to go. The perfect candidate would be a college graduate (or someone seeking a fresh start) looking to work hard at establishing a career in direct sales and potentially working upwards to a management position. For one to achieve success with our company, they will need to be able to develop and motivate others by example. Direct Sales Representative's Duties and Responsibilities:
- Go directly to our client's lead base performing door-to-door sales pitches to sell the various client offerings
- Assist homeowners and residences with saving money through our community-focused sales practice
- Gather the necessary homeowner information needed to provide a custom solar solution
- Set appointments for closed sales, explaining the installation process from start to finish with transparency
- Escalate any outstanding customer questions to our team of Sales Experts to ensure the customer understands the entire sale process as needed
- Network with strategy and grow/develop our customer base
- Monitor and track company metrics based on the team's performance
Direct Sales Representative’s Requirements & Education
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required
- A degree in Business Administration, Management, or Marketing is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills or 1-2 years in a Sales or Account Management position
- Previous door-to-door sales experience or commission and retail experience is preferred
- Possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and resolve issues, questions, and concerns
