Caregiver DSP for Children & Adults - Hattie Larlham

As a Hattie Larlham Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will help care for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at our Mantua location.

Opening:

• Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• Location: Mantua, OH in northern Portage County, less than 10 minutes from the I-480 exit in Streetsboro.
• Flexible schedules:
  • 1st Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm
  • 3rd Shift: 10:30pm-7:00am
• FT 40 hours per week or PT 24 hours per week.
• Every other weekend and holiday required.

What You'll Do: 

• Help children and adults with everyday living skills such as bathing, getting dressed, and eating.
• Receive training to help you feel confident in your abilities and skills.
• Document accomplishments of the people in your care.
• Feel appreciated by the residents, families, staff, and administration. 
• Communicate with other healthcare professionals and work together as a team.
• Know that reliability, punctuality and commitment to this job are very important in providing the best care to our persons served.

Requirements: 

• High School Diploma/GED, preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
