Job DescriptionAHRC NYC is looking to immediately hire Full and Part-Time DSP's at their Dickson-Goodman ICF residence in Manhattan. The pay rate is $18.54-$18.90 per hour depending on driving status and shift. Location:126 East 126th Street in Manhattan
Available shifts: 40HR. EVENING SHIFT 2pm-10pm.....DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED 30HR. OVERNIGHT SHIFT 10pm - 8am.....DRIVERS LICENSE NOT REQUIRED WEEKEND AVAILABILITY NEEDED FOR MOST POSITIONS.

- The oversight of all safety and health considerations
- Promoting skill development, interests, and hobbies
- Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
- Other personalized responsibilities including cooking, cleaning, hygiene, etc.
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a Must!
- Willingness to support people's preferences for community, activities, work, leisure activities, the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
- Ability to use a computer for data entry.
- Driver license needed for day and evening positions, NOT overnight positions.
- High school education/GED preferred.
