Direct Support Professional: Edgewater/Gambrills - 32hrs - Bay Community Support Services

**Job Summary:**
Bay-CSS is looking for a Direct Support Professional to join our residential program in the Edgewater, MD, and Gambrills, MD locations. The position involves providing care and assistance to individuals with disabilities during the evening shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3pm to 11pm. The role offers a pay rate of $21/hr. with a $2 weekend shift differential and part-time benefits eligibility.

**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in caregiving or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance is required.
- Willingness to attend all required trainings.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist individuals with disabilities with daily tasks, including grooming, meal preparation, and transportation.
- Implement and document care plans following supervisor instructions.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients in the residential program.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of those under your care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the living environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, and supervisors.

**Schedule:**
This part-time position offers 32 hours per week with the specific schedule of Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3pm to 11pm. The role may include weekends and holidays based on program needs. Candidates must be available to attend all required trainings and possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance.
