PRN/as needed position; availability required for evening, overnight and/or weekends hours.
The Community Living Instructor provides resident care and supervision to assigned residents and maintains resident environment and safety.
Responsibilities Include:
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) to include but not limited to: bathing, showering, dressing and grooming, shaving, nail care, hair care, eating, making bed, laundry; document care given daily on Personal Care Documentation Form for residents as assigned
Also, assist serving meals to residentsProvide treatment interventions to residents in alignment with their individualized treatment planHourly resident checks as assignedMaintain resident Smoke Schedule and supervise residents for safety. Including stocking cigarettesEncourage residents to participate in activities, day program, socialization, work schedules, and regular exercise Monitor and document resident behavior (ICPR progress notes – three notes per shift)Assist client in meeting their general health needs, i.e., transporting to scheduled appointments for eye exam, routine physical exams, dental exams, yearly OB/GYN exams or follow-up testing as ordered by physician—this is indicated on the daily assignment sheetAdminister medications as ordered by physician: Narcotic Count is done q shiftTranscribing MD ordersOrdering and reordering necessary medication/ suppliesSigning in totes of medications receivedDocumenting medications administered on MAR Review, Understand, and Adhere to the S26 Keaton ALF Manual.Review and Complete all necessary documentation as outlined in S26 Manual, including but not limited to: the Monthly census report; Daily Assignments; MARs and Control sheets; etc. WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK
