CareSphere, a Home Care Agency, is currently hiring for Direct Support Professionals.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals with IDD/special needs while implementing and following an individualized service plan

• Assisting with transportation and community integration activities: You will be responsible for accompanying individuals to recreational activities and community events, ensuring their safety and promoting their independence

• Assisting with behavioral management and crisis intervention: You will be trained to effectively manage challenging behaviors and provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals

• Promoting independence and self-advocacy for individuals: You will empower individuals to make choices and decisions, promoting their independence and self-advocacy skills

Requirements:

• Female preferred

• Must have a valid driver's license and car

• Experience working with IDD patients a plus

• Physical stamina and mobility to perform repetitive tasks and lift minor to moderate weights

• Positive, optimistic attitude
