About the Job
Residential Resources is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)to provide support to four male individuals diagnosed with autism and intellectual disabilities in their Scarbrough home and in the greater community.
Shifts available are:
Monday: 9a-10p, 1p-9p
Tuesday: 8a-3p
Wednesday: 1p-10p, 10p-8a Awake Overnight
Thursday: 9a-8p, 8a-3p
Friday: 8a-3p
Saturday: 8a-8p
Sunday: 10p-8a Awake Overnight
EXTRA DOLLAR PER HOUR DIFFERENTIAL FOR AWAKE OVERNIGHT!
As a DSP, you are responsible to ensure our residents are safe and healthy in all regards, while also promoting life skills and independence.Some of what you can expect is to support with ambulation (walker or wheelchair), meal preparation and feeding, housekeeping, attending to bathroom and hygiene needs, maintaining comprehensive daily documentation, and creating opportunity for meaningful community integration. Experience with medication passing and full personal care are preferred. An active CPR, CRMA, and DSP certificate is preferred. If you are a kind, patient, and compassionate person who wants to have some fun, laugh a lot, and be a little silly while at work, we would like to meetyou!
Pay rates are based upon experience and accompanied certifications: $16.50 - $18 an hour.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience as a licensed driver with an acceptable driving history.
- An acceptable criminal history and other background checks, as required.
