Direct Support Professional: Waldorf - 24hrs. - Bay Community Support Services

Job Summary:
Bay-CSS is looking for a dedicated Direct Support Professional to fill a residential position in Waldorf. This role offers a rate of $21/hr. with a $2 weekend differential, providing care and support to individuals with disabilities. The position is for 24 hours per week, specifically Sun, Mon, Wed, and Sat from 8am to 2pm.

Responsibilities:
1. Assist individuals in a residential setting with daily tasks like meal prep, personal hygiene, and household chores.
2. Implement personalized care plans and behavior support plans.
3. Transport individuals to appointments and community activities.
4. Maintain documentation of individual progress and incidents.
5. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.

Qualifications:
1. Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
4. Compassionate, patient, and supportive attitude.
5. Must attend and successfully complete required trainings.
6. Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
7. Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
