Job Overview
Abound Health is currently looking for a caring and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities in their home and community settings.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities in daily living activities and personal care tasks.
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and enhancing their quality of life.
- Provide meal preparation and assistance with nutritional needs.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times.
- Uphold resident rights and promote a positive living environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving, nursing home, or direct support roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with systems for home and community care.
- Ability to lift and assist residents as needed.
- Comfortable working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week

*$1000 Signing Bonus Details
- $333 paid out after working 90 days with an average of 20 hours per week
- $333 paid out after working 6 months (180 days) with an average of 20 hours per week
- $334 paid out after working 1 year (365 days) with an average of 20 hours per week
- Applicant cannot have been employed by Abound Health (or any of our newly acquired companies) in the past 18 months
- Signing bonus not applicable for Residential Services
- Employees hired as Relative as Providers (RAPs) are not eligible for the Signing Bonus
