Overview:
Starting Rate: $18.50/hour
(Sunday - 6 hr shift)
Promote the values, dreams and potential of individuals with developmental disabilities through education and meaningful activities.
Minimum Education Required:High School Diploma/GEDAdditional Shift Details:Sunday 4:30pm-10:30pmResponsibilities:- Maintain residence in a neat, clean and orderly fashion
- Assist individuals in their morning routines, ensuring that they are appropriately prepared for the routines of the day.
- Provide awake coverage when required to assist individuals in evacuating during fire drills or in any emergency situation.
- Assist people with medications and health care needs, monitor and communicate health care issues.
- Physically assist people during emergency procedures or as needed for required care.
- Participate in the development of Individual Service Plans and implement ISP objectives consistently.
- Ensure that people’s human rights, privacy and confidentiality are respected.
- Ensure that people’s transportation needs are met.
- Role model appropriate behaviors, dress and social norms.
- Maintain communication with other staff through the use of the daily log, incident reports, etc.
- Participate in all required trainings, staff meetings and supervisions.
- Complete required trainings and maintain certifications.
- Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations.
- Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year experience in developmental services/behavioral health area preferred.
- Valid driver’s license along with an acceptable driving status.
- Use of a reliable vehicle, which seats two passengers.
- Additional specific experience may be required.
