Title: Director
Location: La Jolla - Hybrid Schedule
Salary: $160-230k + Bonus
Job Description: Support client's accounting and finance (i.e. day-to-day, closes, FP&A, contract management, financial reporting, transactions, etc) as the company’s “internal” team, as well as with SOX implementations and compliance. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple companies. Opportunity to do a variety of work including accounting, transactions (i.e. IPOs, preferred stock financings, etc.), and SOX.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field required; CPA a plus
- 10-14 years of relevant experience
- Public accounting experience and life science industry experience highly preferred
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP required
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple clients with competing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
