Who we’re looking for:
You will be responsible for defining marketing solutions and strategy as part of a multifunctional leadership team including engineering and product management along with the general manager of the business unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Surveys market and customer needs and identifies value proposition in a given market space.
- Provides market input to product definition (requirements, differentiators, timing, cost, etc.).
- Responsible for design win, revenue generation and market share within assigned region and customer.
- Product marketing and customer engagement
- Develops and maintains customer targeted product roadmaps.
- Develops, maintains, and provides clear and compelling marketing collateral to the field and sales teams for the purpose of customer engagement.
- Engages with sales team to understand customer opportunities and to promote, track, and drive success of products and product segments.
- Maintains current status of customer requirements
- Tracks, documents, and understands current system architectures.
- Identifies problems or areas of potential value creation.
- Discusses system architecture with customer to gather potential opportunities for engagement and influences customer decision making.
- Translates potential system problems or opportunities into clear product level requirements and/or product differentiators.
- Tracks competitor activity and provides competitive benchmarking guidance in support of product development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree in technical field required (EE or ME with technical experience), MS preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the sensor industry.
- Extensive systems and applications experience related to sensor implementation in consumer applications.
- Strong business acumen with experience in customer facing interactions.
- Self-motivated, proactive.
- Excellent communicator with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel 25% domestically.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $210,500 - $273,700, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change dependent on physical location).
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.
Base compensation is one element of Total Rewards offered at Qorvo. More information on the Total Rewards package can be shared upon request.
