Fusion Recruiters, in partnership with our client, Oshkosh Defense, is in search of a dynamic Director of Business Development to join their team in Warren, MI.
Reporting to the VP of Global Business Development, the Director of Business Development will guide key initiatives that shape the company's future performance, leading cross-functional teams and partnering with program managers and engineers on new projects. They will align business strategies with company objectives, identify opportunities for simplification, and drive execution of impactful recommendations. Additionally, they will foster strong relationships within the combat vehicle community to support collaboration and ensure alignment with company goals, while providing direction and leadership support to team members in order to achieve results.
This role requires a blend of thought leadership, change management, and project management expertise, with a strong ability to influence change and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. It involves conducting executive-level presentations, facilitating group discussions to address complex challenges, and working effectively with all levels of the organization. A key focus is driving alignment and guiding others toward consensus to achieve impactful business outcomes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required;MBA preferred
- Ten (10) or more years of related experience OR Seven (7) or more years of related consulting experience.
- Five (5) or more years of management experience.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Military experience in Army or Defense Acquisitions
- Military tour at TACOM in an acquisition-related billet
- Experience with Army combat vehicle programs
- Knowledge of and familiarity with the Army acquisition community
