We’re seeking a dynamic and results-oriented leader to join our Operations management team. You should have extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams, knowledge of overseeing data analytics and dashboard development and exposure to large scale operations. Relying on your extensive project management experience, you will lead a team of project managers that bring the skills necessary to drive multimillion dollar initiatives to successful completion. You’ll be data-driven, with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights that drive operational improvements. Most importantly, you’ll be a strategic partner to our COO, helping steer our company’s operations towards success and supporting stakeholder management.
Leadership
- Oversee and guide a team of Project Managers in executing critical multimillion dollar initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
- Oversee and guide a team of analysts to design and maintain operational dashboards to steer the business and enable data driven operational decisions
- Partner closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help him steer his functions that span, amongst others UW, Claims, IT and Member Services
- Support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in managing key stakeholders within the Executive Management team and the Board of Directors (BoD), ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic vision
Manage strategic multi-million-dollar Operations projects
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact operations projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Oversee project managers and teams, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness
Develop Operations data driven dashboard
- Design and implement comprehensive operations dashboards that provide real-time insights and actionable data across all areas of operations
- Oversee and manage data analysts to ensure accuracy and relevance of metrics displayed
- Continuously refine dashboard features to meet evolving business needs and enhance decision-making
Support Management of Operations Functions
- Facilitate day-to-day interactions with operations functions, including preparing, organizing and leading regular biweekly meetings
- Detail and track action items, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of issues
- Provide ongoing support to operations functions, help them prepare reporting and follow-ups on most strategic topics
Manage Operations Vendors and Budgets
- Oversee relationships with key Operations vendors, ensuring service quality and alignment with organizational needs as well as long term vendor engagement
- Support the implementation of an SLA based culture and reward system with vendors
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals and identifying opportunities for cost savings
Collaborate with Leadership
- Support COO in partnering with senior leadership to align operational strategies with the overall business vision
- Support COO in managing Exec Management and BoD relationships, especially around preparation of key materials for presentation
- Contribute to strategic discussions, providing insights and recommendations based on operational data and trends
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting from top tier firms required
- Extremely strong analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment within a growing company
- Empathic leader with a passion to develop people and the patience to chart a journey people can follow
- Proven ability to manage teams to deliver key strategic projects to successful completion
- Extensive experience in reporting and data analytics
- Track record in successful senior stakeholder management
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
