Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Director for the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology department, responsible for overseeing operations and ensuring high standards of patient care. In this role, you will manage approximately 25 full-time employees and lead the department's efforts to meet regulatory and quality care standards, ensuring smooth 24-hour operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the cardiac Cath lab and interventional radiology department, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop staff to provide excellent patient care.
- Maintain quality control and operational efficiency while supporting the team in delivering the best patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet strategic goals and improve departmental performance.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's Degree required, and must be a graduate of an accredited Nursing school.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years progressive management experience or leadership role.
- Licensing/Certification: Current RN license in Nevada and BCLS certification are required.
- Specialized Skills: Must have experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology, along with proven management experience in a healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous director-level experience in a large acute care facility.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced environment.
