Summary of the Job
The Compliance & Governance Leader will be responsible to bring entitled sourcing spend under the contract umbrella, tighten up the company’s contractual terms & conditions with supplier partners to meet business objectives and protect the business from any potential market or legal risks. The role will also lead a team responsible for Audits & Oversight, as well as Standards, Policies, and Change Management. This team will promote compliance, governance, and awareness around the Global Procurement Policies and thereby, help create a secure, compliant, and policy-driven work
culture across the Global Procurement Organization. The leader will foster strong collaboration across functions such as Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, P&L and Category Management, to ensure alignment and integration of procurement strategies and initiatives. In addition, this leader will work across the global organizations to define governance gaps and create applicable policies, documentation, and training. Lastly, this role will ensure all documentation, such as the Procurement Website or Training documents, are maintained and updated on a regular basis.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Define spend entitlement under contracts, lay down processes and action plans to achieve the entitled spend under contracts.
Monitor contract compliance and performance ensuring contractual obligations are being met and forecasting is accurate; raises issues with category leads.
Continually strive to make the contracting process more efficient, effective, and digital,
seamless integration with ERP and quality systems.
Directs analysis and prepares reports, as required, to ensure that contracts are within
negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
Centralize and streamline T&Cs across P&Ls and regions
Develop and implement governance strategies and associated KPIs to drive needed
compliant stakeholders’ behaviors.
Responsible for ensuring that appropriate documentation on policies and procedures exists, maintained in appropriate repository(s), and communicated to cross-functional
stakeholders.
Identify compliance / efficiency gap areas. Partner with various stakeholders to not only
communicate why changes are needed but also develop solution alternatives.
Report key compliance metrics and KPIs to the extended global teams to drive awareness and create a high compliance culture.
Coordinate internal and external audits involving Procurement, including team preparation, data assembly, and follow-up actions. Typical audits include ISO, Financial / Controllership, Tax, and Regulatory.
Identify training programs required, coordinate the content development and delivery by
leveraging internal cross-functional experts and / or external developers.
Hard Skills:
Ability to establish appropriate methods and procedures to effect efficient and accurate
control of contract commitments and contract utilization.
Good understanding of key compliance metrics and KPIs to the extended global teams to drive awareness and create a high compliance culture.
Experience in developing and writing procedures and/or work instructions.

organization.

Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Legal or similar field, candidate
with a master's degree and / or certification like CPM/CPSM, PMP, etc. will have added
advantage.
Ten (10) + years’ experience in Procurement, Supply Chain function or equivalent role, with
knowledge of category management, contract management and category strategy
deployment.
5+ years of leadership and managerial experience in complex organization, including
managing teams of senior professionals and establishing performance expectations
Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.
Preferred:
Extensive knowledge of SOW’s, Master Supply Agreements, and/or Outline Agreements.
Knowledge of SAP, Ariba (S2C), and any additional contract, compliance, or policy tools.
Experience in development of written policy and procedures in a global environment.
Experience as a Lean and/or Process Excellence Leader with demonstrated ability in
organizational transformation.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing
priorities and requirements.

Hybrid or Remote working condition, depending on location
Ability to travel 10-30% of time, domestic and international.
