Colony Brands is seeking a Director of Creative Marketing Services to support the strategic goals of the company and affiliate partners via leadership of the creative and copy teams
These teams support a number of multi-channel brands as part of one of the world’s largest and most successful direct marketing catalog and e-commerce companies
As the Creative Marketing Services (CMS) Director, you’ll report to the Vice President of Supply Chain and will play a pivotal role in aligning all creative efforts with business objectives

What You’ll Do:
As head of Creative Marketing Services, you will champion the people, processes, and creative outputs to propel our business forward
You will contribute both strategically and creatively to the success of our brands, providing direction to the teams responsible for generating all creative content for our corporate identities, aligned with specific business targets and collaborative partner guidance.
You’ll be accountable for ensuring your team operates strategically and can execute key initiatives within brand-specific parameters
This role requires strong financial acumen to optimize the cost-effectiveness of people, photography, and channels to achieve a synergy of impact and efficiency
You’ll also be responsible for:
• Having a visionary understanding of the different channels we have for reaching customers and be on the forefront of how they interact with the customer experience
• Acting as the principal creative director, you will represent and advocate for the essence of creativity in our value proposition to customers and in all business communications
• Provide leadership, development, and management for the ~55 CMS department staff
• Building tactical and strategic interactions with other departments
• Guiding the brand teams in how to best sell and reflect their companies in the mix of various channels
• Creating and monitoring departmental budgets
• Partnering with the divisional creative directors to drive brand specific creative and to meet staffing needs from employees, freelancers or other vendors, to meet expected work volume, quality levels, deadlines and budget goals
• Coordinating print and digital creative staffing, actions, and initiatives in connection with all channels.
• Maintaining a strong technical foundation, monitoring content creation tools and content management technology while initiating needed upgrades and process changes
