The Director, E-Payments Systems has responsibility for the overall leadership, management, and tactical implementation of ETS E-Payment processing strategy and systems. Provides ETS Business Units with strategies for the automated acceptance and processing of electronic payments for a diverse suite of products and services. Ensures that end-to-end solutions are secure, auditable, and compliant , with payment industry best practice and data security standards.
- Act as the product owner of complex internally and externally hosted Payment Systems utilized in the processing of ETS and ETS India customer payments including the enterprise Electronic Payment Management System (EPMS). EPMS is an ETS developed and managed payment orchestration platform comprising a suite of cloud based microservices capable of integrating and processing transactions with multiple payment companies, service providers, acquirers, and banks on a single, unified software layer. Annually, > 4 million transactions and $350 million are processed via this channel.
- Project ownership develop concept for implementing data solutions/automations to support ETS business. Own and manage deliverables.
- Serve as cross-organizational champion and E Payments SME on initiatives requiring integration with EPMS. Act as the key liaison with Business Units, Finance, IT, and Operations in devising and implementing payment-processing strategies and improvements that align with organizational goals, optimize business objectives and comply with payment industry regulations, compliance, and best practices.
- Ensure that new E-Payment solutions comply with ETS Tax Department requirements and incorporate processes to accurately record related revenue and expense to the GL.
- As E-Payment Systems product owner, communicate the vision of how ETS E-Payment systems should function, define specific product features, and break those features into product backlog items for application development/agile scrum teams.
- Meet with Payment Companies, Acquirers, and Service providers on a routine basis to discuss processing/technical issues, performance, compliance with SLAs, and new capabilities.
- Identify and evaluate potential vendors for enhancements to e-payment capabilities and platforms, Collaborate with ETS Supplier Management (ESM) in developing RFPs for E-payment-related services. Evaluate responses and present recommendations to stakeholders. Assist ESM and ETS General Counsel in contract reviews and negotiation.
- Utilize and enhance analytics data to provide ETS Business with timely insights on trends to influence future strategy. Implement and enhance tools such as Power BI or other OTS tools to deliver data and KPIs.
- Manage the establishment and configuration of new Merchant processing divisions with external vendors and internal IT teams.
- Approve/provide end users with access to various internal and external vendor systems on a business need to know basis.
- Provide direction to teams in overcoming challenges or complex problems. Troubleshoot issues that have been escalated and require collaboration between teams and/or data from multiple sources to resolve.
- Manage tax software compliance tools and their configuration for our various ERPs
- Have a working knowledge of the configuration of taxation software tools and their impact on ERP item lists
- Assure compliance with applicable corporate policies and procedures including those in areas such as confidentiality of data, ethical standards, records retention, data/physical security, and process quality control systems.
- Lead/manage other Finance projects as assigned by the Director.
- Coordinate technical and functional operating standards related to departmental work processes.
- Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function.

Required Experience:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience preferably in a large, complex/diverse corporate environment
- B2C and CNP Electronic Payment Processing e-commerce systems and operations.
- End to end Project Management experience requiring coordination of cross functional/cross organizational teams.
- IT/Technology experience preferred.
- Business Systems Analysis and documentation of requirements and end-to-end process flows.
- Six Sigma process experience
- Taxation software experience (Vertex, Avalara)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft or other large scale ERP systems a plus.
- Experience in using Visio or other process mapping tools.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks,
- Ability to facilitate positive outcomes under difficult/complex circumstances and meet deadlines.
