Director, East Brand Marketing - Fresh

Fresh offers a hybrid working schedule with three fixed days in office, and two days remote. This role is based in our New York Office.

Our Global Marketing team takes a consumer-centric, data-driven approach to leading end-to-end brand marketing efforts, from ideation to execution. We work hand-in-hand with our markets and internal teams to create breakthrough product and compelling campaigns, driven by the belief that true collaboration yields the best results. Your Impact to the Role:

• Lead Brand & Product Strategy - Lead teams to manage innovative product development in fresh’s strategic recruitment and long-term growth categories to increase brand awareness
• Define Strategy - Lead execution of product innovation strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams while improving profitability year-over-year including positioning, pricing, packaging design, distribution and forecasting. In addition, work closely with Operational partners to drive key program milestones.
• Identify Opportunities - Identify portfolio white space opportunities based on findings from sales data, market feedback, consumer insights, social listening, CRM data and transposition from other industries.
• Build 360 Campaigns - Lead execution of product marketing and messaging strategy to brief programs to Creative, Digital, Social, PR and lead go-to-market asset development and strategy
• Day to day responsibilities- Analysis of market dynamics to aid in forecasting, pricing for new innovation. Brief packaging and innovation teams on new innovation needs. Work with copy, creative, and channel owners to create 360 activations to bring campaigns to life. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on activations to support core business. Close partnership with consumer insights to gain a deep understanding of consumer trends, needs, and find the whitespace for fresh.

Your Impact in Your First Year:

• Lead key East-focused categories and families- Present to the CEO on strategy for core categories and launches. Lead execution endeavors across cross functional partners.
• Lead innovation execution – Present to CEO & founders on future white space opportunities. Build and execute 3-year calendar to match fresh’s profitability and brand awareness objectives
• Ideate - Partner with key partners in product innovation and operations to visualize future launches and campaigns, with the intent of keeping fresh ahead of competitors
• Build our Brand- be the steward of the future of fresh, partnering with our channel marketing teams to come up with new ‘big’ ideas to reach our target consumer while remaining true to who we are. Present new ‘big ideas’ to CEO, & SVP.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have 8-12+ Years of Experience Required in Marketing/brand management; global development experience preferred
• You have a Bachelor’s degree, MBA or advance degree preferred
• Marketer - Experience in beauty industry, consumer packaged goods, knowledge of packaging design and development, campaign development and China experience are a plus.
• Strategist - Should be a strategic thinker, an ‘influencer’, a consensus builder, and an excellent team player.
• 360 Developer - Experience working 360 cross-functionally with key partners –operations, supply chain, forecasting, finance, creative, digital, packaging development, local affiliate markets, pricing, etc.
• Analytical & Creative - Must possess strong analytical skills with their eye on achieving business goals and long-term brand objectives – strong business analysis and financial fluency is a must to match fresh’s profitability objectives.
• Project Management - Exhibit a keen ability to be proactive as well as handle a multitude of projects at one time, managing multiple timelines and deliverables.
• Agile - Thrives in fast-paced and ever-changing environment, flexible, ability to wear many hats at once.
• Change Driver - Change champion with a curative lens on the changing consumer, business results and decision-making.
• Multi-channel Retail - Understanding of multi-channel retail practices, marketplace advances and consumer technologies in China, Travel Retail, US, Sephora-ecosystem a plus.

The salary range for this role is $140,000 - $165,000 USD.
