About the Job
Maximus Federal Services seeks a Director to lead content management for the Federal Services Growth & Strategy Team's site. The role involves establishing a library of top-tier proposal content for organization-wide use, collaborating with key leaders to curate and update this content, and developing strategies to enhance adoption, knowledge sharing, and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct the writing, design, translation, review, and testing of print and digital program materials.
- Direct planning, staffing, budgeting, schedules, delivery, and quality to meet business requirements.
- Develop and recommend innovative methods, techniques, and criteria for project execution.
- Coach project teams, manage assignments/schedules, and ensure successful completion of tasks.
- Review project deliverables to ensure compliance with acceptance criteria and contract requirements.
- Provide accurate and timely communication of risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Develop and maintain project plan, meeting agendas/minutes, status reports, and financial tracking.
- Build relationships and grow trust with clients, stakeholders, other departments, and digital team.
- Influence others to accept and follow policies, procedures, practices and approaches.
- Knowledge Management Strategy Development: Develop strategies to encourage knowledge creation and sharing within the organization.
- Knowledge Management Content Oversight: Manage the knowledge management systems to ensure user-friendliness and content relevance.
- Content Curation, Collection, and Migration: Work with teams to gather and refine materials from successful proposals for future use; ensure the content aligns with Maximus standards and is easily accessible.
- Training and Support: Produce training materials and guides; conduct onboarding and training for new users.
- IT Department Collaboration: Partner with IT to ensure knowledge management systems adhere to governance policies and maintain security
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- 10-12 years of related professional experience required.
- Minimum 2 years experience managing a department of professional level employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional experience, or 12+ years of proposal writing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, especially SharePoint Online and Teams.
• Demonstrated proposal writing and editing skills.
• Knowledge of knowledge management principles.
• Desktop Publishing (DTP) abilities.
• Strong communication and training capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Advanced writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
• Analytical skills to drive insights from data, and measure the impact of enablement programs at scale
• Experience in Federal Government proposal environments and familiarity with government procurement regulations (FAR, DFAR).
• Ability to work closely with a wide range of collaborators and flexible work style
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances.
