About the Job
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide advice to the business units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters.
- Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.
- Identify risks and issues; suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution.
- Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties and provide continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
- Prepare and disseminate information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
- Responsible for documentation and implementation of contract management processes.
- Manage daily workload of assigned Contract Management personnel and project or business personnel assisting with the contract management function.
- Acts as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal Services, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
- Responsible for informing the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance.
- Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement.
- May provide training to Contract Management and project personnel.
- Actively involved in Contract Management initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
- 10-12 years of related professional experience required.
- 3-5 years relevant experience as a contract manager with exposure to complex, risky deals with proven team management experience required.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams with good/impactful executive presence.
- Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external executives and be capable of contributing and influencing key commercial and contracting decisions.
- Solid experience managing complex commercial issues and understanding main commercial principles.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
