Reporting to the Chief Medical Information Officer, Digital Pathology, the Director provides Digital oversight and management for all digital imaging and AI applications, platforms & services for digital pathology including their design, development, and implementation. The Director will also oversee all Digital staff working on pathology digital imaging and AI and collaborate closely with other Digital leaders in related areas.
Principle duties include:
·Oversees the Digital activities associated with the design, development and implementation of the application, platform or service. Works with other Digital leaders to ensure the appropriate technical support for the solutions
·Works with other Digital leaders and vendors to develop Mass General Brigham Digital (MGBD) strategies, tactics and services.
·Collaborates well with site leaders, developing an understanding of their business goals and identifying how the particular application, platform or service can best help the site meet those goals.
·Proactively ensures security measures are in place to protect confidential data compliant with state and federal regulations and other pertinent regulatory agencies.
·Provides innovative and proactive management, including the attraction, retention and development of high-quality staff.
·Leads the development and implementation of large projects and initiatives or directs others in the same.
·Develops and monitors the Digital budget for the enterprise application, platform or service. Leads efforts to identify new approaches to deliver improved services and cost savings.

·Required:
oMaster’s degree or higher in Business, Public Health, Computer Science, or a related field
oMinimum of 7 years of experience in technical product or project management, within a healthcare setting preferred
oExperience with user support and engagement, including but not limited to user experience research, soliciting feedback, creating training and support materials, and communicating launch and system maintenance activities.
oEffectively responds to time sensitive issues and meet deadlines; takes ownership and accountability for timeliness, accuracy, and relationship management.
oUnderstanding and complete familiarity with Anatomic Pathology (AP) operations/workflows, information systems and integrations, digital pathology, and AI.
oExperience with healthcare systems and technologies, including but not limited to HL7/FHIR, EHR, PACS, and/or LIMS.
·Preferred
oExperience with Business Intelligence and/or Analytics platforms, including but not limited to Tableau, PowerBI, Looker
oKnowledge and practical experience in AI and machine learning applications in healthcare, including but not limited to clinical decision support (CDS) tools.
oExperience with managing applications in a hybrid-cloud environment, including but not limited to the oversight of cost-effective and scalable cloud-based architectures.
