The Role:
The Director, Growth, will support the Chief Growth Officer in delivering organic growth and assisting in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This role will help identify, analyze, and prioritize new growth opportunities, implement plans to deliver growth strategies and support post-merger integrations.
What You Get To Do Everyday:
- Identify and evaluate various organic and inorganic growth opportunities.
- Develop business cases to prioritize initiatives.
- Develop project roadmaps and business cases in support of growth that align with organizational objectives and key results (OKRs) and establish the economics of a given strategic initiative.
- Build implementation plans and support execution.
- Provide support throughout the M&A process, which includes drafting letters of intent (LOI) with support from the investment team (PR firm), building and understanding financial models, and supporting project due diligence.
- Lead, develop, and mentor team members in the functional areas
- Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
- Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
You Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Eight years or more work experience in management, consulting, growth strategy, and/or investment banking
- Ability to understand and synthesize complex requirements of the professional services environment
- Ability to handle urgent and time-sensitive matters appropriately
- Ability to develop actionable recommendations and implementation plans
- Ability to produce on-time quality deliverables in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to facilitate senior leadership meetings with the ability to exercise sound judgment and influence key stakeholders
- Project management skills
- High degree of organization and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to define and understand critical issues
- Excellent teambuilding skills with the ability to attract, develop, and retain a high-performing team
- Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to delegate responsibilities and authority effectively and to encourage individuals to decide how they will accomplish their goals and resolve issues
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, negotiation, writing, speaking, and listening skills
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability
We'd Love to See:
- Master’s degree
- Experience leading the development of business cases and critical change initiatives
- Experience working in Finance and/or M&A
