The HOPWA Program Director directs and administers the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Housing Programs, the Ryan White Housing Program, Information and Referral Services, and nonmedical case management for the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Health for eleven counties in Western Pennsylvania. The Director is responsible for interpreting federal, state, and local regulations regarding the implementation of programs and financial reporting, and for making policy changes to ensure agency compliance. The position must consistently uphold the mission, values, and behavior standards of Presbyterian SeniorCare Network; maintain confidentiality, and ensure employee compliance with the policies and procedures as outlined in the HOPWA Guide.

What we are looking for:
We need a Director of HOPWA Programs who will assist our leaders in support of the daily living needs of our residents and by developing trusting, caring relationships. Our HOPWA Programs Director is required to:
- Have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Social Sciences, Gerontology, or a related field; or at least 5 years' experience in management of programs serving special populations in housing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Be proficient in evaluating financial statements, preparing budgets, and invoicing;
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to deliver reports in a clear and concise manner with the proper background information and recommendations;
- Have the ability to multitask and prioritize to ensure agency goals and deadlines are met;
- Possess exceptional customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external clients and stakeholders;
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of accounting and finance is preferred;
- Demonstrate knowledge of continued care of disabled individuals, including the ability to appropriately apply that knowledge to daily interactions in meeting the needs of clients;
Incumbents must possess a valid PA Driver's license and have an operable, insured, and registered vehicle.
The following are preferred at time of hire, or must be obtained within 6 months of employment:
- Occupancy Specialist Certification
- Housing Manager Certification
- Housing Quality Standards Certification
- Fair Housing Standards Certification
