SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Vice President of HR Operations, the Director of HR Operations will manage and implement HR initiatives and programs across the organization. This role requires collaboration with entity Chief People Officers, LBH HR Senior Leadership, and other LBH Leadership to ensure alignment and consistency in HR practices throughout the organization. The Director will lead a team in auditing participation and compliance with established HR policies and initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
HR Policy Management:
- Ensure all HR policies on “PolicyTech” are current, accurately reflect LBH HR practices and are in alignment with other system policies where content may overlap.
- Develop new policies as identified through organizational needs.
- Create and implement communication and training tools related to HR policies.
Compliance Oversight:
- Drive team member compliance with mandatory LBH online training.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to flu vaccination and fit testing requirements.
- Oversee and confirm compliance of licensure/certification standards.
- Ensure appropriate level of corrective action up through termination is administered when appropriate
Content Management for LBHub:
- Assist in building and optimizing the intranet platform using Simpplr, ensuring user-friendly navigation and accessibility of HR resources.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across various HR functions (Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Compensation, Training and Learning Initiatives, Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, Retirement, Engagement, HR Operations, etc.) to review and maintain accurate and up-to-date HR content on the LBH intranet site, including electronic forms.
Implementation of HR Initiatives:
- Lead the execution of newly identified HR Operational initiatives, ensuring all due dates are met.
- Manage third-party staff as needed for initiative execution as applicable
- Develop training tools to support the rollout of new initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in HR experience, 5 or more within HR Operations, including management of HR staff.
- Direct Reports: Manage all (7) HR Operations Generalists (each also maintains a dotted line to site CPO); and third-party HR staff as needed.
SKILLS COMPETENCIES:
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
