Job Description
The location of the Director of Human Resources will be Saint Luke's Hospital in Lee's Summit, MO. Founded in 2006, Saint Luke’s East Hospital is a 238-bed facility. Since the hospital’s opening, Saint Luke’s East has grown every year to ensure we continue to meet the needs of the community we serve. And with onsite primary care physician offices, we make getting exceptional health care as easy and convenient as possible for you.
For the second consecutive year, Saint Luke's East earned a five-star rating by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services based on quality measures including safety, effectiveness, and patient experience. We have been recognized by U.S. News & World Report and received The Joint Commission's Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Knee Replacement.
It will report to the Vice President, People Strategy West Region:
- Translates the business strategy and objectives into human resources & talent goals, plans and tactics in order to drive improved business performance and profitable growth.
- Partners with their respective SLHs regional executive leadership, HR Shared Services, and CoPs to develop long-term talent strategies, including development of internal talent and cultivation of external talent, ensuring that their respective Executive team is making the right talent decisions to meet its strategic priorities.
- Works collaboratively with their respective Executive Leaders to optimize workforce health, helping assess, identify and solve problems related to workforce engagement and retention to maximize outcomes through consultation, coaching, advising and guiding leaders on people strategies, using evidence-based tactics, metrics, and trends to advance talent, organizational capabilities, leadership and culture.
- Leads a high-performing team of human resources business partners to act as a strategic consultant and thought partner to leadership by providing expert, proactive HR consultation to advance BJC’s culture to enable the organization to attract, retain, motivate and grow BJC talent and be recognized as a destination employer.
