About the role
- This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and leading the Human Resources function on a global scale. This role involves developing and executing HR strategies, ensuring consistency in HR policies and practices across different multi-national regions, and supporting the organization"s overall business objectives. This is also a critical role in managing the operational aspects of HR to support the organization"s overall goals and maintain a compliant and efficient workforce.

- Duties and Responsibilities
- Global HR Strategy:
- Develop and execute global HR strategies that align with the organization"s overall business goals.
- Ensure the integration of HR strategies with the company"s growth and scalability.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and manage the global HR team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment within the HR function.
- International Employment Laws and Regulations:
- Stay informed about employment laws and regulations in different countries and regions.
- Ensure global HR practices comply with local labor laws.
- Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Oversee talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment strategies and practices.
- Collaborate with regional HR teams to ensure a consistent approach to hiring.
- Act as an Executive Recruiter for the leadership team.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Develop and manage compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure competitive and compliant compensation structures across regions.
- Learning and Development:
- Implement learning and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Address training needs specific to different regions.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, employment trends, and emerging HR technologies.
- Performance Management:
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Ensure consistency in performance management practices across regions.
- Employee Relations:
- Address and resolve complex employee relations issues on a global scale.
- Provide guidance to regional HR teams in handling employee relations matters.
- HR Systems and Technology:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of HRIS (Human Resources Information System) solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and accessibility across different regions.
- HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Develop and analyze HR metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of HR programs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Crisis Management and Contingency Planning:
- Develop and implement crisis management and contingency plans for HR-related issues.
- Ensure a consistent approach to handling emergencies and disruptions.
- Employee Engagement:
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Conduct surveys and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Integration:
- Lead HR integration efforts for mergers and acquisitions on a global scale.
- Ensure smooth transitions and alignment with HR policies.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization within global HR operations.
- Stay informed about global HR trends and best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Global HR Strategy:
Qualifications
- Education and Experience
- Master"s degree in Business or HR-related field.
- 10+ years of experience in multi-national corporations.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience.
- 4+ years of experience in HR leadership roles driving critical programs and initiatives.
- Required Skills and Abilities
- This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of global HR practices, and the ability to navigate complex international HR landscapes.
- In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, policies, and programs across different jurisdictions.
- Experience working in diverse cultural environments, managing cross-cultural teams, and fostering global collaboration.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams across regions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record in implementing and driving HR programs, such as talent management, performance management, and employee development.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with a customer-centric mindset.
- Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with changes in global HR regulations and best practices.
