The US Retail Markets Data Science team brings together a diverse range of talent to predict future risk and what our customers will need to recover. Our data engineers write code that turns trillions of bits of information into structured data—data that our hundred-plus Data Scientists analyze with cutting-edge modeling techniques to unlock insights. From there, our tools and deployment teams ensure this data can be practically applied to business problems across US Retail Markets. USDS Infrastructure is seeking a Manager to lead the Pricing Tools team. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of analysts charged with building tools to rollout pricing products in USRM. The primary objective will be to architect, construct and maintain tools and pipelines that significantly enhance the ease of bringing our pricing programs to market.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of analysts to design and implement tools and pipelines that improve the ease of of bringing our pricing programs for all lines to market
- Develop strategies and roadmaps for tooling to drive lower cycle times for our pricing programs
- Collaborate heavily within USDS and USDS Infrastructure on the design and integration of tooling and processes, with a focus on those that connect with Earnix
- Build and maintain python packages, processes, and applications that will be utilized across the organization
- Provide strong technical guidance for analysts
- Collaborate with teams outside of USDS, including Product Delivery and USRM IT for tools that interact outside USDS but still lie along the critical path for brining pricing programs to market
- Shape the direction of the Pricing Tools team and foster a cohesive team culture of ownership, growth, and advancement
- Bachelor`s degree in quantitative field with 8+ years of related experience within insurance, actuarial, data science or technology preferred
- Master's degree or equivalent in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field with a Minimum 8 years, typically 10 years or more of relevant experience
- PhD beneficial
- Proficient in Python, git/GitHub, CI/CD, and best development practices
- Must have exceptional planning, analytical, decision-making, communication, and project management skills
- Proven ability to lead and drive projects to completion through others, to include prior experience effectively managing and developing talent
- Knowledge of pricing product development, deployment, and maintenance, enabling the identification of opportunities for improvement
- Adept at building relationships and actively engaging with individuals at all levels of the organization to stay informed on ongoing projects, challenges, and pain points
- Exchanges ideas and conveys complex information clearly and concisely, verbally, visually, and in writing, consistent with stakeholders with up to and including SBU/Corp Dept leadership and enterprise wide
- Strong desire to help others and make a difference
- Resilient, curious, acts in service of the best answer, holds themselves to a high standard and wants to be around others who do the same
