Position Summary
This position is responsible for high-level portfolio project management work. Work involves establishing the strategic portfolio plan; coordinating the planning and initiation of a portfolio of projects at various levels of completion; monitoring the progress, budgets, and schedules of portfolios; and communicating with portfolio and project stakeholders, management, and other relevant parties. Candidate will be expected to work directly with all levels of leadership, key stakeholders, and project managers
Essential Skills and Functions
o Develops project portfolio, and tracks IT projects at all stages.
o Assists in providing continuous improvements and enhancements to the project management system and methodology.
o Develops and coordinates monthly and/or ad-hoc Steering Committee meetings with senior leadership.
o Compiles status reports on portfolio information and budget expenditures.
o Utilize tools approved by the organization for the tracking and monitoring of projects, budgets and reports.
o Manage tools related to IT Project Management and Budget.
o Collaborate and build relationships across IT and Business Stakeholders
o May supervise the work of others
o Expert project portfolio management skills including planning, estimating, cost-benefit analysis, and tracking.
o Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures
o Must have strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
o Must have strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
o Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
o All employees are required to adhere to ISO and OHSAS policies established by FMG and shall have high values for safety awareness
o Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies, procedures, and applicable laws including but not limited to: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems, and develop employees with the skills, abilities, competencies and values needed to achieve the Company goals

Physical Demands and Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and occasionally stand or walk; use hands to handle materials or equipment; reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee's workspace is in a clean and comfortable climate-controlled setting with little to no exposure to the moving equipment, elements, extreme conditions, or risk of injury. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. When entering the shipyard, areas of the work environment may not be climate-controlled and there is exposure to moving equipment, etc.
Education and Experience
o Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
o 10 Years of Project/Program Management experience is required
o Certifications and/or Licenses: Have or willing to attain PMP
o Experience creating executive level reports, dashboards and summaries,
o Ability to work across all areas of an organization including technical team, executives, and key stakeholders.
o SAFe Agile experience
o Project portfolio Budget management -- CAPEX/OPEX
o Manage SteerCo communication/updates
