Director of Accounting - Masco Corporation

- Review monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial reports
- Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company
- Direct and monitor the operations of the Accounting department, department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
- Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties
- Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations by conducting analysis of financial risks and benefits on business initiatives
- Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate
- Oversee the robust contracts management and financial management/ reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements
- Provide financial analyses as needed for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiation
