Director of Admissions - American Medical Associates

A beautiful privately owned skilled nursing facility located in Hazlet, NJ is currently seeking an experienced Director of Admissions to handle all aspects of the admissions process for their facility.

**Salary:  #85K-$100K per year (Depending on Experience)**

Responsibilities of the Director of Admissions:

• Responsible for maintaining all the documentation involved with the intake process
• Manage inquiry process
• Handle inquiry calls from hospitals, families, etc., and provide appointments that include a presentation, tour and closing.
• Maintain updated bed ability and facility services information

Qualifications of the Director of Admissions:

•  ·         Minimum of 3 years' experience in Admissions within a Skilled Nursing Facility in New Jersey market. 

  ·         Proficiency in Medicare requirements and knowledge of insurance providers, including Medicare rules (PDPM), HMO rules (RUGS II & III), and Medicare prescription plans.

  ·         Familiarity with EMR software systems.

  ·         Thorough understanding of CMS guidelines, DOH regulations, and insurance policies.

  ·         Must have previous experience as a Director of Admissions

  ·         Must have long term care experience

  ·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

  ·         Proven leadership and managerial skills
