Position Overview: We are seeking a an experienced Director of Broker Relationships to lead the development and management of partnerships with health benefit brokers. This role will focus on expanding our broker network, driving revenue through broker channels, and positioning LASO's healthcare solutions as essential offerings within broker portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of existing broker relations within healthcare benefits and a proven ability to cultivate, manage, and grow broker partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategy for building and managing relationships with insurance brokers and third-party administrators (TPAs) to drive business for LASO Health's services (WorkWell by LASO, LASO Therapy, LASO Connect).
- Serve as the primary liaison between LASO and the broker community, ensuring brokers are well-educated on LASO's offerings and empowered to effectively promote our services.
- Build and maintain a strong partner development pipeline, track progress through the CRM system, and report key metrics to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with brokers to develop customized strategies that align LASO's services with their clients' needs, particularly in employer group and corporate sectors.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and resources to brokers to ensure they have the tools necessary to succeed in selling LASO's services.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, and product) to align broker strategies with LASO's broader business goals.
- Attend industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to represent LASO and strengthen broker relationships.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in broker management, business development, or partnerships within the healthcare or insurance industries.
- Strong existing network of insurance brokers and TPAs, with a demonstrated ability to grow broker partnerships.
- Comprehensive understanding of broker sales cycles, healthcare programs, and employer-sponsored health benefits.
- Proven success in developing and executing broker-focused business development strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and promote LASO's offerings to brokers and clients.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align broker initiatives with broader company objectives.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with a focus on building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
