About the Job
- Develop, implement, and lead a strategic business development plan in collaboration with principals, branch managers, and regional leaders. This plan will focus on increasing growth (financial and brand recognition of ECS) and success in the greater Philadelphia region (for all ECS services) and the broader mid-Atlantic region (for facilities and environmental services).
- Serve as a liaison with business development staff in all ECS mid-Atlantic offices to assist the local and regional facilities and environmental office captains in promoting business development activities, including cross-selling ECS services, leveraging existing client relationships, and tracking significant project pursuits.
- Conduct regular check-in meetings with business development staff and office captains across MA offices to liaise on facilities and environmental collaboration on business development tasks.
- Further develop and diversify market opportunities consistent with strategic initiatives by performing marketplace research and analyses.
- Implement innovative processes and creative solutions to improve Business Development practices and leadership.
- Coach engineering staff on building successful client relations and business development strategies.
- Lead and mentor the business development staff.
- Develop client relationships, maintain the client database, generate leads, and follow-up with clients.
- Actively hold a professional association board seat on a national level committee.
- Supply content and coordinate with social media Team to support social media, marketing campaigns, website, and industry conferences. Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with company strategy, deliver content via LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, email, or direct mail through the corporate marketing group.
BS in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field – MBA/MKT preferred
15+ years of direct sales/marketing with experience in consulting, marketing services, advertising, service delivery, and launch strategy.
