The Director will lead efforts to identify new business opportunities, oversee marketing initiatives, and develop partnerships that align with the organization’s mission and goals.This role involves strategic planning, relationship management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance our services and reputation within the community.
Qualifications:Qualifications of the Director of Business Development:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the healthcare or long-term care sector.
- Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and developing strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of the nursing home industry and regulatory environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities of the Director of Business Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve growth objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, and community organizations.
- Engage with residents, families, and stakeholders to ensure services meet their needs and expectations.
- Oversee marketing initiatives to promote the nursing home’s services, including digital and traditional marketing strategies.
- Coordinate community outreach programs and events to increase visibility and foster community partnerships.
- Lead the sales team in achieving occupancy and revenue targets.
- Develop training programs for staff on effective sales techniques and customer service.
- Work closely with administrative and clinical teams to align business development initiatives with operational capabilities.
- Support interdisciplinary teams in enhancing service offerings based on market demand.
- Ensure all business development activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare policies and regulations that may impact business operations.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development efforts.
- Prepare reports for senior management on progress towards goals and outcomes of marketing initiatives.
