Director of Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics - Veterans Evaluation Services - Maximus Services, LLC

Maximus is currently looking for a Director of Data Analytics to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote job opportunity. The Director of Data Analytics oversees the Business Analytics Team ensuring shared services programs and systems are properly supported.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Directs the daily operations and sets standards and guidelines for the BI team.

- Lead the development of sophisticated and complex reports in support of customer requests.

- Participate in gathering needs/requests and work with senior leadership for guidance on information strategy, vision, and priorities .

- Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests. and develops methodologies and programs for analyzing and presenting data.

- Assist in creating, maintaining a stable, efficient, and high-performance analytic and reporting platform and evaluating data quality, applications, and functions.

- Identify data quality issues for review and resolution .

- Identify and evaluate analytical tools and related new technologies; contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation .

- Provide user support for Business Intelligence and Analytic products, including helping users navigate and understand reports .

- Serve as an effective liaison between the technical team and the stakeholders .

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree required.

- 10-12 years of related professional experience.

- Five years of analytic and decision support reporting in a large organization.

- Experience in the healthcare field reporting.

- Extensive expertise in logical and physical data modeling.

• Proficiency in Salesforce Analytics, Cognos, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Tableau and/or related BI tools

Home Office Requirements:

• Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net )
• Preferred Windows or Mac (no Chromebooks)
• OS for Windows - Windows 10 or newer
• OS for Mac - Big Sur (11.0.1+); Catalina (10.15); MacOS (up to 12.5) or newer
• Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router
• USB plug and play wired headset with a microphone and noise suppression
• Private work area and adequate power source
• A second monitor is highly recommended for most positions

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
