This Director will have oversight of the wholly owned hospital-based, urgent care and virtual care compliance and privacy programs. They will manage 14 associated compliance and privacy officers within the system. This director will be a key member of the System Compliance leadership team and be part of leading the initiatives related to the System Compliance operations, workplan and strategic objectives.
This person will report to the Chief Compliance Officer, who is looking for someone who proactively shares knowledge, creates self-sufficiency in the team, and who can hold staff accountable. They need to have a unique understanding that every hospital will have a different culture and adapt their communication style accordingly. They also need to be able to lean into challenging conversations with leaders, justifying compliance and privacy decisions with research-backed data that can tell a story as to why that decision was made.
This is a hybrid working schedule, with the expectation to live in the Dallas/Fort Worth Texas Market. This schedule will vary based on the needs of the hospitals. Some weeks you might come in a few times, then there might be weeks where you don’t come in at all.
The Salary midpoint for this role is 190k based on years of experience, education, and scope of previous role.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree Required
- CHC or CCEP Required
- 10 Years healthcare compliance and privacy experience with escalating responsibility and experience Required
- Significant compliance and privacy orientation, coupled with business process expertise Required
- Supervisory experience in a compliance role Required, including Management of Compliance and privacy Personnel, Projects, and Programs
- Multi Hospital Health System Compliance Experience Required
