As the Director of Content Transformation for the Learning Lab team in Worldwide Learning, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of learning content and assessment authoring. Leveraging your experience with generative AI and business process transformation, you will drive the Learning Lab team's AI-powered experimentation, authoring tool roadmap, authoring tool adoption and business process transformation for how the team generates and manages learning content, video, interactivity, and assessments. You will hone your cross-company leadership capabilities while collaborating with multiple organizations across Microsoft to scale effectively. You will demonstrate thought leadership as you tell the team's transformation story externally. You will grow your people leadership skills as you establish a new and high-performing team. This role is flexible in that you will be able to partner with your manager to define the way that you'd like to work, whether that is in the office or from home. You will travel to Redmond (if not Redmond-based) and around the world for internal and external meetings.

**Responsibilities**
+ Lead, inspire and grow a team of talented individuals dedicated to shaping the future of AI-powered content and assessment generation through a relentless pursuit of experimentation and innovation and an intentional approach to business process and role transformation.
+ Demonstrate thought leadership through internal and external storytelling focused on the team's AI-powered transformation.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Microsoft to ensure a cohesive approach to AI-powered content and assessment generation.
+ Utilize data-driven insights to inform future roadmap and measure impact.
+ Oversee the evolution of learning content and assessment standards, specifications, budget management and business processes for the Learning Lab
**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
+ 7+ years experience in program management, digital content publishing and management, or experience in a writing or editing role
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years people management experience.
+ 1+ years experience using generative AI in business process transformation, content developement process, or learning & developement solutions.
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 9+ years experience in program management, digital content publishing/management, or experience in a writing or editing role
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 7+ years recent experience with digital publishing modalities (e.g., Web, social media, in-product, training, online ads).
+ 3+ years experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
+ 5+ years people management experience.
+ Effective communication and collaboration skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Content Program Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
