Director of Customer Parts - Printing Services - Base Salary to 120k/year - Exeter, NH
- Our client, a well-established printing services company, is currently seeking a Director of Customer Parts for their business operations located in Exeter, New Hampshire. Our client has been offering parts, service, rebuilds, upgrades and trainings for printing press services across North America for over 100 years!
- The Director of Customer Parts will direct the sale of customer parts for all company press and post-press systems, as well as manage activities related to the planning, procurement, inventory, sale, shipment, and customer satisfaction for the Customer Parts business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, direct, and motivate the customer parts department
- Supervise a team of Parts Representatives (5-7 people)
- Grow parts business through strategic account management
- Collaborate for process improvement
- Maintain superior customer relationships/ contact involving parts sales activities
- Develop pricing and marketing strategies for increased market share
- Manage expenses, inventory, order processing, and product documentation
- Develop annual operating plan (parts sales budgets, staffing, and expenses)
- Travel to customer sites and trade shows (up to 20% of time)
- Collaborate with IT Department to ensure business system functions
- Maintain working relationships with vendor representatives
- Report to upper management
Qualifications:
- 3+ years leading a parts service business (preferably for large industrial / commercial machinery/ capital equipment) understand inventory, pricing, delivery
- Data analysis skills (analyze sales info, pricing, stock, etc.)
- Advanced Excel use (pivot tables) & ERP system (SAP a plus!)
- Effective interpersonal skills - business relationships with all levels of the organization, internal & external contacts (client facing); lead, inspire, & encourage direct reports
- Financial Business acumen: accounting, contract management, and business development initiatives
- Ability to work in-office, travel to customer sites/ trade shows a few times a year, and be “on call” a few times per month
Compensation:
- Base salary up to 120k/year
- Managers Incentive Program/ Bonus % of annual income; paid quarterly
