Director of Development - Wingspan Care Group

Wingspan Care Group is a nonprofit administrative and management organization that provides a united, community-based network of services so member agencies can focus on mission-related goals. Our innovative model is designed to promote sustainability and advancement among its partner agencies by streamlining operations and eliminating redundancies – resulting in improvements to the delivery of direct service operation.

Position Summary: Wingspan Care Group is seeking an experienced development professional to join a dynamic team in a mission driven environment. The Development Director will provide support for all activities of the Wingspan Development Division and its agencies while serving as the primary development officer for Wingspan’s partner agency, Applewood Centers.

Responsibilities Include:

• The planning and implementation of development activities to support and enhance charitable giving and engender a culture of philanthropy among constituents that support the mission of the Agencies.

• Management and growth of the following donor development activities

  • Annual and personal solicitation campaigns

  • Special events

  • Major gifts program

  • Stewardship and estate planning program

• Travel as necessary

• Some weekend and evening availability as necessary

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree

• Minimum of 5 years experience in fundraising or institutional advancement

• Experience working with volunteers preferred
