Overview
Our award-winning client is seeking a compassionate Director of Diagnostics to deliver top-tier diagnostic assessments and psychological testing for individuals requiring these services. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee quality of assessment administration and clinical reports.
- Provide a comprehensive range of psychological and/or diagnostic assessments, including scoring, interpretation, diagnostic reporting, clinical recommendations, and feedback.
- Support diagnostician staff in the selection, administration, and interpretation of assessment instruments.
- Maintain the condition and inventory of assessment materials, protocols, and accessories.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new hires.
- Complete performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with the intake department and local referral sources to identify and meet diagnostic service needs by location.
- Collaborate with the Director of Compliance as needed to support external audit requests (payor, regulatory, or otherwise).
- Maintain a balanced billable caseload across diagnostic services and PBS services as directed by your supervisor.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master’s degree or higher
- Prior Post-Degree Clinical Experience (2+ years)
- Valid Regular Driver License (DL)
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Licensed Psychological Practitioner (LPP)
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP)
Schedule and Shift Details
- Work Monday-Friday, no weekends required!
Candidate Details
Candidates should hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology or be a Licensed Psychological Practitioner (LPP). While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, newer clinicians or recent graduates will also be considered. The primary challenges in this role include effective time management, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a good turnaround. This position is designed to evolve, eventually involving the building and overseeing of a team of clinicians.
