About the Job
HARIBO of America is continuing to grow! The Director of Display Excellence will lead the in-store display strategy for HARIBO across all retail channels – Convenience, Grocery, Food, Mass, Club, Value, Drug, Alternative Channels and more. Reporting to the VP of Marketing and working closely with the Sales team, the Brand Marketing team, the Co-Packing team, the Trade Marketing team, and our Commercialization team, the Director of Display Excellence will bring marketing programs to life through store merchandising displays at stores nationwide.
Located on-site at the HARIBO of America corporate office in Rosemont, Illinois, the ideal Director of Display Excellence will have 10 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Good industry with experience brining store display ideas to life that drive product sales. This person will have strong data and analytics skills utilizing POS sales data and other forms of syndicated data such as IRI, Circana, Nielsen, with the ability to create compelling selling stores – using data to tell the story. Additionally, this person will have a Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, level of completed education and the ability to travel with overnights stays up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities:
- Create and evolve compelling display strategies
- Facilitate annual display planning with the Sales team to achieve KPI’s
- Utilize syndicated data, internal reports, and customer insights to successfully develop display strategies and measure outcomes
- Assume strategic ownership of assigned projects that support Sales and Marketing
- Provide Sales team with the necessary tools and information to prepare for trade shows and customer meetings
- Leverage insights to provide recommendations on pack-type, product development, off-shelf merchandising design and development, and pricing related to display promotions
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time with overnight stays
- Experience with syndicated data and analysis such as IRI, Circana, Nielsen, or other forms of syndicated or POS data
- Prior experience in candy, confectionery, or snacks
- Experience creating display strategies and working with third-parties to create and execute displays
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
