We're seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the digital transformation of our iconic
Adventure Sports brands (Fox Racing, Bell Helmets, Giro, CamelBak, QuietKat, Blackburn, and
more) across North America. This exciting role goes beyond traditional ecommerce. You'll
own the entire digital experience, crafting a seamless customer journey from brand discovery
to purchase and fostering lasting loyalty.
As the Director of Ecommerce & Digital (North America) , you'll take the reins of our North
American online presence, driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities encompass the entire ecommerce ecosystem, including financial
planning, merchandising, inventory management, paid media, customer retention, site
experience, and insightful analytics. You'll lead a high-performing team across functions like
site merchandising, digital marketing, content creation, and performance marketing. Through
strong partnerships across the organization (Marketing, Creative, IT, Planning, Finance, Sales,
and Product), you'll translate the vision of our Adventure Sports portfolio into a best-in-class,
engaging, and consumer-centric digital experience.
This role requires a business leader with a can-do attitude and a passion for innovation. You'll
be responsible for developing and implementing multi-year strategic plans to guide the
continued evolution and growth of the ecommerce business. Balancing execution with
innovation, you'll utilize data analytics to identify trends, optimize performance, and make
data-driven decisions. You'll also manage our biggest stores, the brand websites for North
America, defining and implementing the marketing and merchandising strategy to deliver
targeted sales.
This position reports to the Vice President of Global Digital Ecommerce and is based out of our Irvine, CA location.
As the Director of eCommerce & Digital (North America) , y our responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Leadership & Vision : Develop and execute a comprehensive omnichannel strategy aligned with overall business goals and brand objectives for North America. This strategy will cater to the specific needs and target audiences of each brand within the Adventure Sports portfolio (Fox Racing, Bell Helmets, Giro, CamelBak, QuietKat, Blackburn, etc.)
+ Own the digital footprint for our Adventure Sports portfolio (Fox Racing, Bell Helmets, Giro, CamelBak, QuietKat, Blackburn, etc.), driving brand awareness, engagement, and sales across all North American digital touchpoints.
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive omnichannel strategy that optimizes the customer journey from brand discovery to purchase and fosters lasting loyalty, aligned with overall business goals and brand objectives.
+ Lead and manage a high-performance team of ecommerce, digital marketing, content, merchandising, and analyst specialists.
+ Forge strong partnerships with cross-functional teams (Finance, Marketing, Sales, Product) to ensure digital strategies align with individual brand objectives.
- Drive Digital Excellence: driving brand-specific ecommerce growth and elevating the customer experience across all North American digital touchpoints for the Adventure Sports portfolio.
+ Craft, develop, and implement a data-driven eCommerce strategy to maximize revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction for each brand within the Adventure Sports portfolio.
+ Oversee all aspects of North American eCommerce operations, including merchandising, inventory management, paid media, customer retention, site optimization, and insightful analytics. □Champion a best-in-class customer experience across the digital landscape, focusing on user experience (UX) design, engaging content creation, and personalized customer journeys.
+ Stay ahead of the curve by identifying and implementing cutting-edge digital innovations, tools, and technologies to enhance each brand’s performance and customer engagement.
- Leveraging Data for Strategic Advantage: Utilize data analytics in driving informed decision-making, optimizing the digital experience, and ultimately achieving business objectives for all Adventure Sports brands within the North American market.
+ Develop and implement a robust data analytics framework with KPIs, website traffic tracking, and data integration from various sources.
+ Utilize advanced analytics tools to conduct customer segmentation, analyze customer lifetime value (CLTV), and optimize marketing spend.
+ Identify emerging trends and customer insights through website traffic, paid media, and customer surveys to inform product selection, personalization, and promotions.
+ A/B test website elements and marketing campaigns to optimize conversion rates and the overall digital experience.
+ Personalize the customer journey by analyzing customer data to tailor website content, product recommendations, and email marketing campaigns.
+ Measure the impact of digital initiatives by tracking ROI and reporting on digital marketing and ecommerce campaigns.
+ Stay informed about industry data and best practices to identify improvement opportunities.
+ Develop data-driven storytelling to translate complex data into actionable insights and drive stakeholder buy-in for digital strategies.
- Performance Management & Optimization: Oversee the optimization and enhancement of our digital platforms, including websites, mobile applications, and ecommerce platforms. Utilize data analytics tools and customer insights to identify trends, optimize digital experiences, and drive data-informed decision-making.
+ Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing strategies (paid search, social media, display, etc.) to drive qualified traffic and conversions.
+ Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track ecommerce success (traffic, conversion rates, revenue, customer acquisition cost).
+ Lead high-impact customer retention initiatives (email marketing, loyalty programs, retargeting).
+ Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and implement A/B testing strategies.
+ Optimize website performance, user experience (UX), and conversion funnels.
+ Partner with Finance and Sales to develop strategic digital marketing budgets aligned with brand growth objectives.
+ Collaborate with Planning teams to forecast inventory needs, optimize assortment planning, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
+ Deliver actionable reporting that demonstrates the ROI of all digital investments and informs strategic decision-making.
- Team Leadership & Vendor Management: Lead and manage a high-performing team of eCommerce, digital marketing, content, merchandising, and analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
+ Lead and motivate a high-performing team of ecommerce specialists, including analysts, marketing specialists, and merchandisers.
+ Develop and implement talent management strategies, including training and development programs for the team.
+ Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the ecommerce team.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with key ecommerce technology partners (e.g., payment gateways, analytics platforms, fulfillment providers).
+ Oversee the negotiation, implementation, and management of vendor contracts and services.
You have:
+ Minimum 10+ years of experience in ecommerce management, with a proven track record of success in driving online sales and profitability.
+ Extensive experience (8+ years) working in a large, complex ecommerce environment.
+ At least 5 years of progressive responsibility in merchandising/buying with a track record of conversion/sales success.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience leading and developing successful ecommerce and digital marketing strategies.
+ Proven experience in managing and optimizing budgets for ecommerce operations
+ Experience working with a variety of ecommerce platforms and technologies (Salesforce a plus).
+ Utilize strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills with experience in leveraging data to optimize online performance and web analytics. Be well-versed in understanding, strategizing around, and executing against web analytics.
+ Possess in-depth knowledge of digital marketing best practices, including SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media marketing. A strong paid and organic media background.
+ Develop and execute omnichannel ecommerce strategies across multiple brands in acompetitive market. Possess a deep understanding of omnichannel marketingprinciples and the ability to create seamless customer experiences across touchpoints.Be a strategic thinker with dynamic leadership skills.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Lead,inspire, and develop a high-performing team. Have excellent communication skills(written and oral) and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
+ Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer behavior and experience bestpractices.

Pay Range:
Annual Salary: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
