Director of Emergency Services & Urgent Care - Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt - Hocking Valley Community Hospital

Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is currently seeking an Director of Emergency Services and Urgent Care to join our friendly, hard-working team.

• This is a salaried, exempt, full-time position, Monday-Friday, but the Director is accountable for units 24/7
• Onsite at hospital
• The base rate starts at $40.65/hr to $50.78/hr based on experience
• This is a working Director role meaning that the director will provide coverage in the unit if needed

Our Desired Candidate Will Have

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold an active, in good standing RN license for the state of Ohio.
• Must have a BSN or obtain within 2 years of hire.
• A minimum of three years of Emergency Room experience.Urgent Care experience is a plus.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Ability to function independently and as part of a team.
• Must be competent to participate in the formulation of the patient's comprehensive treatment plan, provide skilled nursing care and therapy, and to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care provided.
• Empathy for the needs of patients.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate through spoken and written English.
• Detail oriented, with ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to apply sound judgment with clinical skills for optimal patient care.
• Demonstrates flexibility by accepting and supporting changes in work assignments as related to department and patient needs.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proficient in working with all ages and patient populations.
• Knowledge of appropriate equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective patient outcomes.
