Your robust technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and strategic vision will be key to your success.You will be responsible for the quality and timely delivery of engineering projects. This involves removing obstacles, providing critical guidance, and knowing when to escalate issues.In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders, including the CTO, VP of Product, and VP of Design, to ensure alignment on strategy and execution. Your leadership will ensure that engineering efforts are seamlessly integrated with the company's broader objectives.ResponsibilitiesOwnership: Design, implement, and monitor operations and key performance metrics for the engineering team.Leadership: Build, develop, and manage a global engineering team.Strategy: Collaborate with team leads to establish and communicate our technology strategy as we scale.Problem Solving: Develop standards and procedures to maintain and ensure consistent quality.Culture: Advocate for and lead a culture focused on user impact and product delivery. Strengthen this culture and mentor future leaders within the organization.Curiosity: Demonstrate a deep curiosity and a drive to ask critical questions and propose impactful improvements.Minimum QualificationsProven experience in building and leading a significant global engineering organization, ideally with 12+ years in modern engineering practices, including 5+ years in leadership roles overseeing up to 200 engineers globally.Strong computer science fundamentals with expertise in creating scalable and resilient systems.Successful track record of collaborating with stakeholders to develop engineering strategies and roadmaps.Excellent communication skills with the ability to balance product knowledge and technical expertise and mentor others in both areas.Ability to foster an inspiring team environment where openness and idea-sharing are encouraged.Preferred QualificationsExperience in FinTech or Payment sectors is advantageousDiscipline(s): Financial TechnologyJob type: Permanent
