About the Job
The Director of Facilities is responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of employees in the general maintenance and housekeeping of buildings, grounds, and equipment. Overseeing the centralized food service program, internal catering, and organization of central supply. Working with outside IT partnerships to ensure that IT needs are met agency wide.
- Supervise maintenance and food service personnel by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, disciplining, communicating job expectations, and ensuring employees are adhering to policies and procedures.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of food service, central supply, purchasing. Coordinating with other departments to ensure food and supply orders are fulfilled.
- Serve as the primary liaison with contractors and oversee contractual work for repairs and alterations.
- Manage relationships with external IT partnership, serving as point of contact for all IT needs.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Two years experience in maintenance, food service and/or purchasing.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year previous, professional experience as a supervisor.
