Competency Requirements
Ability to effectively interact with a variety of trades workers, vendors, insurance companies and material suppliers
Ability to interpret basic blueprints and working drawings, as well as the working trades language.
Ability to provide maintenance and repair management of multiple locations.
Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Must possess a high level of accuracy, responsiveness and timeliness.
Must be very proficient in use of MS teams, Microsoft Word and Excel; able to create, name, store, search documents.
Ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently.
Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Education and Experience
High school diploma
Minimum 3 years management experience in facilities related maintenance and/or construction trade experience
Supervisory experience in leading work crews and overseeing third party contractors.
Hands on plumbing experience preferred
Certifications/Licenses
-Valid CA driver’s license
Additional Requirements
-Tuberculosis clearance
-Department of Justice/Fingerprint clearance
-Satisfactory completion of health screening
-Proof of legal eligibility to work in the United States
-Satisfactory driving record

While performing the duties of a Director of Support Services, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand and use their fingers to manipulate a keyboard or writing instrument. The employee is occasionally required to walk, bend and lift to 20 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to drive.
